Lord of the Flies, To Kill a Mockingbird, Hamlet

These are some of the classics that I remember not only being in my library as a kid in school, but they were readings my teachers had us dissect.

As a child going through school, I never remember a teacher pushing their sexuality or telling us their life story. Definitely never had anyone ever “come out” to me as an authority.

Sure we had faculty members that were suspicious and we had thoughts were possibly gay or lesbian, but it was never anything that was stated as proudly as it is now.

As a gay man, secure in myself, but doesn’t flaunt anything by any means I am entirely disturbed by the education of our youth. Recently my good friend showed me pictures (graphic pictures) of a book in her library titled All Boys Aren’t Blue. Which is a very graphic book of a gay black man who describes in detail his first sexual experiences with a man…in college!

Not only is the story graphic, but I frankly do not find it remotely appropriate for anyone under the age of 18 to have access too in school. The author is sexually explicit and grotesque in his verbiage. If someone who is in college reading this because he may be different that is understandable, but for a child to have access is just plain wrong.

Recently I went to a press rally for a gubernatorial candidate and my friend placed graphic pictures from another book Gender Queer, which was of a same sex couple give a blow job. It was in cartoon form so the book could be published as a children’s book without consequences.

Again, where have we gone? Nowadays I see endless videos of pride flags, and teachers coming out to their young students. Which I find highly inappropriate. No student in school should be discussing a matter of their sexuality with anyone other than their parents.

We should be pushing pride for one thing and one thing only. America.

I fear we have allowed our kids to be taught by these Marxist, prideful, creeps in the name of having to work. Why are you taking your hands off the wheel? Ever?

We can’t even be mad because we allowed it to happen. I can tell you I have personally spoken out against the indoctrination of these books and also of the corruption of our kids because I am sick and tired of being pigeonholed into a group of people that push their sexuality and mental instability on others.

I often tell people “I am just Matt.”

Largely because I don’t want to be grouped with people who are insecure and unable to have a conversation without yelling at people about their sexuality. Because they are confused and unstable.

What do confused and unstable people do? They yell and scream because they want attention.

Bring back the classics.

Teach your kids respect, but also teach them how to stand up for what is right as opposed to just blindly accepting.

Personally, as a gay man I do not need to be accepted and I don’t want to be. I want respect, which is earned. We are dealing with teachers right now who feel entitled to share their personal lives which again is highly inappropriate.

We pay teachers to do one thing. Teach.

Lets get back to basics. Get your hands dirty and get back in the sandbox.

And for the love of God, don’t be afraid of being a homophobe. The fact is they have taken it too far.

I’m gay and I feel like I am a homophobic, white supremacist at this point. So cheers to that!
