The Dream Theory

By: Ascher Filice

Ever had a dream where you were experiencing something that felt real? Have you ever controlled a dream? Here I will explain a theory I have thought about for a long time.

Since scientists have never figured out what a dream is (to 100%), I started thinking and came up with this: we could be influenced by ourselves in an alternate universe. When we are asleep, they are awake and vice versa. Since scientists have discovered that we do not remember most dreams even though we dream every night. This makes my theory plausible. You remember most nightmares because they are action packed and they spook you unlike everyday life. My theory becomes more plausible to say the voices in our head are our alternate selves dreaming.

This voice in our head, for me at least, comes up when I am in trouble, just like all the dreams you remember. If you can, or have tried to control your dreams, you know that your character does not always listen to you. This applies to our life, listen to those voices more often, they could be yourself in another universe/galaxy.
